Our Story

Welcome to our farm! Fallen Timbers Farm is owned & operated by Brandi & Michael Roper. We have 3 kids, 2 of which are still teenagers living at home. Our oldest is married so we also have a lovely daughter in law. I (Brandi) manage a very progressive veterinary hospital & have been a veterinary technician for over 25 years. Michael is self employed & primarily works in export crating but he is incredibly handy & there’s not much he can’t build or repair.

Our farm started on just under 4 acres in Oologah, Oklahoma in 2005 & back then were known as 4 Acre Farm. We focused mostly on pygmy & Nigerian dwarf goats & Holland lop rabbits. In 2009 we moved to 10 acres in Collinsville, Oklahoma. With the move to a little more land, we shifted our focus to incorporate raising some of our own food sources with beef, eggs, & pork all coming from animals we raised. We still eat only our own beef and eggs but have started buying 4H pigs for our pork as raising pigs wasn’t for us!

My primary focus these days is raising Holland lop rabbits & AMHA/AMHR miniature horses while Michael raises TLBBA registered Texas longhorn cattle. We also occasionally have other stock available, including guinea pigs & goats. Boxers have been a constant part of Michael’s life since he was 3 years old & he has been dedicated to raising quality boxers since 1999. We absolutely love the boxer breed & you can see our dogs on their website Roper’s Boxers. In addition to our boxers, we’ve also got the working dogs June & Luke. If you visit you’ll always have barn cats & chickens underfoot & you may be accosted by an emu or two!
