Our Rabbits

I’ve raised rabbits in northeast Oklahoma for more than 25 years. I got my first rabbit in 1996, and while there have been a couple of short breaks over the years, rabbits have remained a consistent part of my life ever since. Over that time, I’ve owned more than 30 breeds, but Holland Lops have always been my favorite.

Today, our rabbitry focuses primarily on Holland Lops, with Mini Rex recently returning to our breeding program. Mini Rex are not new to Fallen Timbers Farm—we’ve raised them during many of the years we’ve had rabbits and are happy to have them back on the farm.

Holland Lops

Holland Lops are the smallest lop-eared breed—and the only dwarf lop—typically maturing between 2.5 and 4 pounds. Their compact size, calm personalities, and easy-care coats make them a great fit for many homes.

In our program, temperament matters just as much as overall quality. We focus on producing healthy, well-socialized rabbits with sweet, confident personalities.

Mini Rex

Mini Rex are known for their compact build and signature soft, velvety coat. Our current program focuses primarily on Harlequin and Tricolor varieties.

Like our Holland Lops, our Mini Rex are selected with health, quality, and temperament in mind. They are handled regularly from an early age to encourage calm, friendly personalities and make the transition into their new homes as easy as possible.

Our Breeding Program

All of our rabbits are raised with daily handling and interaction from an early age. They are housed in a clean, climate-controlled rabbitry, allowing us to breed responsibly throughout the year while maintaining consistent care standards in every season.

We carefully select our breeding stock with an emphasis on health, overall quality, and dependable temperaments. Pedigrees are available upon request for most Holland Lops. We’re also always happy to help new owners with feeding, housing setup, and general rabbit care.

Availability

Because our rabbits are raised in a climate-controlled rabbitry, we are able to plan litters throughout the year. Holland Lop litters are available most consistently, while Mini Rex litters will be more limited as we continue building that program.

The rabbits shown on this page represent the foundation of our breeding program. While we occasionally make changes within our herd, most adult rabbits remain here to maintain the consistency and quality of our breeding program.

Babies are generally ready to leave at around 8 weeks of age, depending on individual growth and development. Current availability is updated regularly and can be viewed here:
