Description
Our chicken hatching eggs come from a colorful mixed flock of hens raised here at Fallen Timbers Farm in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Our hens include a variety of breeds that lay beautiful shades of blue, green, olive, brown, pink, cream, and white eggs.
Our roosters are all dark brown egg laying breeds, Olive Eggers, or Easter Eggers, giving many of the resulting chicks a strong likelihood of carrying colorful egg genetics themselves. Chicks will hatch as a barnyard mix with a wide variety of feather colors, patterns, comb types, and potential egg colors.
Eggs are collected daily and carefully selected before packing.
Please note:
- Hatching eggs are sold by the dozen
- Eggs are unwashed to preserve hatchability
- Shell color, size, and speckling will vary naturally
- Hatch rates depend heavily on incubation practices and handling after arrival
While we cannot guarantee hatch rates, we do everything possible to provide fresh, carefully handled eggs from healthy breeding stock.
