Guinea Pig Supplies
We’ve got recommendations for food, bedding, toys, treats, & more. Everything below is something that we’ve either used ourselves or have researched & found to be an excellent choice for your guinea pigs. We’ve listed food & bedding supplies in small amounts as well as our recommendation for buying more in bulk like we do. This list will be updated as we find additional items that you could consider.

Our Favorite Guinea Pig Bedding

Guinea Pig Bedding
A less dusty option for indoor pigs.

Scented Guinea Pig Bedding
Another great option for indoor pigs.

Young Guinea Pig Food
This is a great option for guinea pigs under 6 months of age. Oxbow foods are the best for small animals.

Adult Guinea Pig Food
The best food for your guinea pigs over 6 months of age.

BULK Guinea Pig Food
This is what we feed due to the size of our herd. It’s much more cost effective if you’re feeding more than about 3-4 pigs.

Timothy Hay
This is a small amount of hay but it is NOT the most cost effective option. Please see below for bulk buying options.

BULK Timothy Hay This is a much more cost effective way to buy Timothy hay for multiple pigs.

Treats for Guinea Pigs

Guinea Pig Hay Feeder
We prefer the wire hay feeders to the cute hay bags because your guinea pig will likely eat the bag, possibly causing intestinal obstructions.

Guinea Pig Food Bowl
Guinea pigs tend to tip their food bowls and make a mess. We recommend a ceramic crock for their food bowl to minimize waste.

32oz Water Bottle
Guinea pigs do not do well with water bowls. We recommend bottles at all times. A 32oz bottle will provide about 3-4 days of water for a single guinea pig or 2-3 days of water for a pair.

64oz Water Bottle
This is a great option if you have more than 2 guinea pigs as they’ll go through water pretty quickly!
