The Farm Crew

These are the animals that are on the farm to work, provide food for our family, or just for love/entertainment. I’ve always been animal crazy & my daughter definitely takes after me. Between the two of us we’ve got quite the collection! We may have babies available from some these critters at some point & if anyone shown below is available it will be noted below their photos.

June

This one is my baby. She’s 100% my heart dog & she does OK as a working dog too.

Bodie

Bodie has big shoes to fill. He’s replacing our amazing Saint Bernard boy Luke that we lost in 2024. So far he loves the mini horses better than anything & he’s been a perfect addition to our family & farm.

Gus

Gus filled a void left by my sweet mare Rosie & got me back on a horse after a terrible injury from a young colt. This guy has a home for life!

The Chickens

We’ve got a flock of about 24 chickens at this time. We plan to add 40-50 pullets in 2025. We should have straight run chicks available this spring, we’re keeping the incubator running non stop!

Charlie

Charlie is a blonde emu & is not DNA sexed. We’ve got our fingers crossed that she’s a female & starts laying eggs in the fall of 2025.

Maverick

Maverick is a DNA sexed standard male emu. We hope to have eggs & chicks available in the future.

Birch

Birch is a red New Zealand buck & will be the sire of our meat rabbits.

Aspen

Aspen is a broken black New Zealand doe. She’s one of our 3 does that will produce our meat rabbits.

Maple

Maple is a steel gray Flemish Giant/New Zealand cross doe. She’s one of our3 does that will produce our meat rabbits.

Willow

Aspen is a broken black New Zealand doe. She’s one of our 3 does that will produce our meat rabbits.

Nutmeg

Nutmeg is the self appointed mini horse guard cat. She stays with the herd at night no matter where they are.

Monkey

Monkey is our most feral barn cat, he won’t let us touch him often but he knows where to get food & he does his part to keep the rodents away.

Betty

Betty is one of the babies of the family. She’s a quiet, reserved girl unlike her crazy counterpart Wilma.

Wilma

Wilma is another of our babies & she’s the wild child. She’s loud, underfoot, & busy but we love her!

Monty

Monty is a mountain coatimundi. He’s got so much personality & is very entertaining! We plan to get him a companion in 2025!

Lucy

Lucy is a red marble fox & is the sweetest, happiest girl. We plan to get a male kit in 2025 & eventually have kits of our own!

Georgia

Kunekune/Mini cross girl that’s here just because we missed having a pig on the farm. We have no plans to raise pigs again.
