Assorted Supplies
We’ve got recommendations for food, bedding, toys, treats, & more for a variety of farm animals & livestock as well as other necessities for farm life in general. Everything below is something that we’ve either used ourselves or have researched & found to be an excellent choice for your animals, farm, or homestead. For our meat rabbits, we use the same food that we feed our Holland lops & that can be found on our Rabbit Supplies page. This list will be updated as we find additional items that you could consider for your poultry, horses, & more.

Laying Hen Food
We feed our chickens & emus this egg ration mixed with the Ranch Hound Dog Food & have excellent results.

Laying Hen Food
We mix 1 bag of this dog food with 3 bags of laying pellets. Chickens & emus love it & their egg production is way up.

Chick Feed
We use this chick starter for our chicks. Ducklings & quail chicks do not eat this starter.

Gamebird Starter Feed
We use this starter for our ducklings & quail chicks. They require higher protein than the chicks.

Horse Feed
Great feed for everyday feeding of healthy horses.

Alfalfa Pellets
Alfalfa is the most complete feed you can offer a horse in our opinion. Pellets are an easy way to feed alfalfa. Our older riding horse Gus is on alfalfa only.

Small Bite Horse Treats. Great for mini horses!

Horse Cookies

Our Favorite Shavings
These are not dust free but they’re cheap & do the trick in most situations. We will splurge & buy larger flaked, more expensive pine shavings from Tractor Supply for the trailer floor because they stay put better while hauling.

High Velocity Industrial Fan
We bought 2 of these fans for our 36’x48′ barn last summer & they kept air moving throughout most of the space. These fans kept our rabbits alive for sure!

Heated Water Bowl
We use these bowls for the exotics.

Plastic & Metal Safe Stock Tank Heater

Miniature Pig Food
IF you need to feed your pig this is a great option. Our Georgie is a scavenger deluxe & stays quite healthy stealing bits of everyone else’s food & grazing with the cattle.

CHEAP Raised Beds
We use these beds in addition to old, rusted out stock tanks & they’re fantastic. Plus, you get 2 8x4x1 beds for less than $75!!

Garden stakes
We use these to grow squash & zucchini vertically, which makes controlling the squash bugs so much more manageable!

Garden Tie Tape
We use this to tie our squash & zucchini to their stakes & to tie tomato plant to their cages. It’s cheap & effective.

Cedar Garden Beds
If you’re not a fan of the metal raised beds this is a good option!

Wireless Trailer Camera
We bought this for my horse trailer. It connects to your phone & you can watch the live feed from an app while hauling your livestock. It’s wireless & works great.

Nurture Right 360 Incubator
We have had great success with this incubator with chicken & quail eggs. It can be used for duck & turkey eggs or even emu eggs with the appropriate turners & risers.

Okkobi Incubator
This is a new incubator for us. I wanted a second one but didn’t want to spend the money on another Nurture Right. So far I’m quite happy with this much more cost effective option.
